Water Residential Assistance Program (WRAP)

Water Residential Assistance Program (WRAP)

What is WRAP?

WRAP provides water and sewer bill assistance and conservation measures to qualifying low-
income households within the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) service area, which includes
drinking water services for nearly 40 percent, and efficient and effective wastewater services to
nearly 30 percent, of Michigan’s population.
The conservation measures offered through WRAP focus on creating a healthy home, rather than
just reducing water usage. Communities are requested to not conduct shutoffs if the household is
enrolled in WRAP.
